Chelsea are reportedly willing to sell Renato Veiga despite Enzo Maresca demanding a new defender following Levi Colwill’s injury. The Blues boss has been left light at the back after Colwill suffered a cruel ACL tear in a training session. The 25-year-old Portugal international moved to Stamford Bridge from Atletico Madrid last summer, having had an earlier spell with the Blues on loan in 2023. The transfer window is hotting up as Premier League clubs put their squads together for next season, which is only a few weeks away. Arsenal are trying to complete a deal for Viktor Gyokeres, though negotiations are proving messy with his current club Sporting CP.
